Guest Speaker – Mr Ballu Thakur

It was an absolutely engaging session last evening with Mr. Ballu Thakur, Professor and Academic Coordinator for the Special Events Planning – Destination Tourism program at George Brown’s Centre for Hospitality and Tourism Management, Canada.

Mr. Thakur enthusiastically explained the concept of ‘Food Tourism’ like a story we all in the audience connected to. A key takeaway for us all was that Food Tourism is not mere food tasting but how we are able to connect each dot with each other and weave an interesting story about individual culture.
