Grievance Redressal

Committee Scope and Objective

The Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted and the Ombudsman has been appointed in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Establishment of Mechanism for Grievance Redressal Regulations, 2012 (F. No. 37-3/Lega/2012, dated 25.05.2012). The Committee ensures a transparent, fair, and time-bound mechanism for addressing grievances within the Institute.

Scope and Objectives of the Committee

  1. Any aggrieved person on the IHM-A campus or in hostels may submit their grievance online by writing to grievance.redressal@ihma.ac.in . The grievance shall be reviewed by the Ombudsman within three working days.
  2. An acknowledgement of the grievance, if duly supported by evidence and accepted as bona fide, shall be communicated to the complainant within three working days of its submission.
  3. The Committee shall enquire into the matter and recommend an appropriate resolution within eight working days from the date of acknowledgement.
  4. The complainant may be invited for a face-to-face interaction with the Committee or any designated member to facilitate and formalize the resolution.
  5. A record of grievances along with their resolution status and dates shall be updated on the Institute’s web portal within two working weeks from the date of registration.

IHMAgine is envisioned as a prestigious event that encourages learning, healthy competition, industry collaboration, innovation and professional networking while showcasing the highest standards of culinary craftsmanship.

Day 1 - 10 th

Students Category

Eligibility:
Any student pursuing an Undergraduate or Postgraduate programme.

Age Limit: 18–25 Years

Home Bakers & Culinary Enthusiasts

Eligibility:
Anyone passionate about cooking or baking.

Age Limit: No Bar

Day 3 - 12 th

Professional Category

Eligibility:
Professionals working in hotels or running their own food business.

Age Limit: No Bar

Important Information

Please read the following information carefully before registering for the competition.

Registration Fee

₹500 per entry, per competition category.

Registration Deadline

1 October 2026
Late entries will not be accepted.

Food Preparation

Entries may be fully prepared or partially prepared requiring only final finishing at the venue, as permitted under the competition rules.

Participant Responsibility

Participants must bring ingredients, equipment, utensils, knives, service ware, presentation plates and cutlery.

Hospitality by IHM-A

All registered participants will receive Breakfast, Tea, Lunch and Refreshments during the competition.

Accommodation

Accommodation is to be arranged by participants. IHM-A can provide details of nearby budget-friendly hotels on request.
